Introducing Fan Friends
Back in September 2017, Sarah was lying on her bed staring at her dusty ceiling fan. She thought that there had to be a solution to easily keep them clean. And that's how Fan friends and her removable fan covers were born.
"It was simply to make my life easier! I started selling a few to friends and family but quickly got distracted with an upcoming overseas trip……then in late 2019 after the trip I wanted to give Fan Friends a go again. I knew that having the covers on my fan had made such a massive difference for me, that I wanted to share that with others."
After completing a social media course and numerous other paid courses, Sarah still felt lost.
"I had no idea how to grow the business to have a steady stream of sales. I knew I needed someone to point me in the right direction and started looking for a coach."

First up, Sarah's website needed a huge facelift. From branding to structural flow, SEO, copy & imagery - everything needed an overhaul.
So, together we worked together on colours, a new logo and copy that spoke to her audience. And we also encouraged Sarah to hire an Airbnb for a few hours to shoot her product in a range of different settings.
And then we worked behind the scenes on Google Analytics and SEO.

Once Sarah had decided on her new colour palette it was time to refresh her socials. With the guidance of coach Vikki, they worked on a content plan, some new insta templates & some clear creative direction. Followers have increased by 25% since we started working together!
Finally, it was time to get Sarah’s marketing campaigns up and running.
Sarah says she always knew that if she could get her product in front of people it would be successful but admits she didn’t understand that in order to present the product you need to have all your ducks in a row first!
"I was very impatient and wanted to get ads running right away, but after rebranding, updating the website and getting my social media posts organised, when it came time to run the ads they were successful straight away! Had I been on my own I would have wasted $$ running ads that simply wouldn’t work."
Sarah's current conversion campaign has a ROAS of over 400%!
Sarah had been selling at markets and in a couple of retail stores, but her goal was always to move to 100% online and that’s exactly what this process helped her do.
'I achieved this, but only because I was given the tools and advice on how to! I now have a clear picture of where the business is going and how to achieve it.'
The month Sarah started with The Elevatory team she was only making a few hundred dollars in online sales. Fast forward a few months and in January 2022 [a month notoriously quiet for ecommerce stores] she had her biggest month with sales reaching over $8,000. And orders continue to flood into early February.
The goal 10k and upwards for February!
Sarah is continuing to grow, expanding her reach via organic and paid Google search.
And she is now getting ready for a new collection launch!
